Fixed Pitch Propeller life

Today advised that CAA/ EASA have introduced fixed life hours/years of say 3000hrs or 6 years for metal props , wood and composite seem to be excluded. Anyone else heard of this and a route to the full info. Thanks Martin

Re your postscript, what makes you optimistic that the DR2XX TCs will be cancelled by DGAC? Have you heard something out of Apex/Dynaero?
