Aerocar N103D Flying Plane

Post by ColinC » Fri Jan 02, 2009 9:37 am

An unusual aircraft for sale on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Aerocar-N103D-Fly ... 240%3A1318 or search for item: 200293466960

They want a lot for it though, I could think of better value for the money.

The Aerocar doesn't interest me but its designer, the late Molt Taylor, also designed the "Mini-Imp" which I considered building many years ago. The Mini-Imp had possibilities but would have been too costly for me. Drawing samples sent to me by Molt were of a very high quality and I think the aeroplane flew well.
You could find more about Molt and the "Aerocar" at http://www.mini-imp.com/ .
