Guys:

Not sure how many of you have Superior engines on your aircraft, but
I do.

Seems today in the mail, we received a nasty package from Superior's
bankruptcy attorney, Strasburger.

The long and short of it after speaking directly to Brent at
Superior....they will no longer exist on or about March 2009, and
that three year warranty I have on my twenty-six thousand dollar
power plant....well, you know what I can wipe with that. It's not
worth the paper it's wrote on.

I was told when I began this project, it was a learning project, just
never in my life would have thought a company like Superior would
fold!

Lycoming has bought the bulk of their assets, and the rest is
history; welcome to the world of business in 2009.

Any of you see their full page add in last months Sport Aviation;
gee, I wonder how they could entice an unknowing builder into buying
their product last month when they knew this was in the works?
