Vickers Vimy engines

Hi Does anyone know about the BMW V12 engines that were used on the Vimy, belive they were replaced by V8's, would interested in the conversions. Was the work done in the UK ?

Will,
I know the guy who worked on them and also flew the beast. You need to contact Richard Kimberley PFA Insp no 594.
