For the more adventurous European touring pilots I'd like to bring this event to your attention. It's being promoted by the Mayor of Cremona to encourage use of Cremona airfield and will be a really good combined flying and cultural event. Cremona was the home of Antonius Stradivari and there is a visit to the Stradivarius Museum and violing performance by a Maestro, together with a speciality lunch (free to visiting pilots I think). On the flying side there is a precision landing competition and visit to the Jonathan Collection (see Pilot, March 2011).

It's being organised by a good friend of mine and Fournier pilot and I plan to go. For details in English, see www.aeroclubcremona.it (hover over the "Novita" word on the home page and click on the event as it scrolls up). I'd be happy for you to email me if you're interested.
