To help with the restoration of Turbulent PNZ we are looking for a complete tailskid assembly , plus an English altimeter with the adjusting knob in the middle.
Can anyone help please, we hope to have it flying for this years LAA rally.
Thanks
Ken

Re: Wanted for Turbulent Project
Hello Ken
I tried to email you but my message rebounded.
I have 2 alts available, one of which is an unknown quantity at the moment, but I could have it tested by Robin Morton if needed. It’s a 3 needle job with the Air Ministry’s broad arrow on the rear of the case but no maker’s name. It’s marked on the dial as MK XIV, is also marked 50,000’ and has a milibar scale at the bottom, within the dial.
The second is a Kelvin & Hughes Mk 19B. It has alternate figures in green. It, too, is 3 needle but has a hashed segment just above the milibar setting box to show when the altitude is below 10,000 feet. This one has been tested, but not calibrated, by Robin and he says it’s serviceable.
Would either be of interest to you? If you email me at [email protected] I could send you photos of them.
Best wishes,
Harry
