Anyone out there with a Solex 32 PNH 1 carb for a VW 1600, any condition will do as long as complete.

When I needed such a carb a few years ago, someone very kindly pointed me towards TheSamba.com where there happened to be one for sale in the UK (off an aircraft, coincidentally).
A long shot but have a look at: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SOLEX-32-PHN- ... 0781311283; there might be something lurking in a box somewhere.

Thanks for that, but I have managed to source another Solex
carb (Solex 30AHG) which is being used on VW aero conversions.
