Anything in particular you are after? Anything you want to sell under £100?

Restoration project wanted

Post by James Wilshaw » Wed May 29, 2013 10:08 pm

I am looking for a restoration project, as have now got a bit of space in the workshop at long last!

Ideally I am looking for a tail wheel aircraft of tube frame construction, as I fancy working with a tubular frame for a change, but I will consider anything if it interests me!

I have always wanted to play with a Cassutt racer, especially as it has a tubular frame and is a little different, but i also like the more traditional Taylor Titch or Taylor Mono , so this should give you the general idea of my interest..

Just thought it would be worth a post on here before I get set on a new project!

Any info on hangar queens or restoration projects would be most welcome!
Regards,

James Wilshaw

Hi James

A friend of mine has a slightly damaged Jodel D11 (ground looped - bent u/c legs, broken wing rib [spar fine], needs an engine or engine rebuild) dismantled in his workshop. Let me know if that would be of any interest.

Would a Pitts S1T be of interest?

Would that be a Pitts S1T on a permit?
