Continental A or C65 needed

Post by sharpe04 » Thu Feb 13, 2014 4:27 pm

Can anybody help me find a serviceable A or C65 to complete the rebuild of our Porterfield which got a bit bent last June. Airframe repairs are nearly complete, but the old A50 is probably worn out. Prefer a motor with logs and lots of hours remaining, but anything considered. Don't need the ancillaries, a set of serviceable cylinders might do the trick. Any assistance gratefully received to get our rare machine back in the air. Cheers. Steve Sharpe, Southampton.

Steve, sorry I can't help source a motor; but you should be aware that there is no such motor as a C65 (all the 65s are A's) . The C65 in Cub designations merely indicates Continental.
