For sale Transponder low loss cable Aircell 5

Post by Graeme Bird » Sat Jul 05, 2008 7:36 pm

I had to buy a reel of low loss AIRCELL 5 coax cable from Germany as recommended for TRT800 transponders, I shall only use a few meters, is anybody else looking for the same?
0.32db per meter at Transponder frequencies (1GHz). light and flexible.

If you are using "ordinary stuff" you will probably find you are losing up to half your transponder transmitter power in the coax cable (same goes for received signal).

If you ever find you can't be detected/identified use a better performance coax.
