WANTED: Anti-chafe tape

Post by rtl_flyer » Sat Sep 20, 2008 5:39 pm

Anybody got any anti-chafe tape (for a/c covering), or know where I can get some in the UK? LAS out of stock and not retirning calls as to when they will get some in!
Will have to place order with AS in US just for one roll of tape at this rate!

Thanks,

Tim

Have you tried Severn Valley Sailplanes? http://www.svsp.co.uk/ I have bought a variety of covering materials. Web site is not the best to find things on so probably best to call 01452 741 463

Try Aircraft Coverings at Henstridge. They advertise it on their website:-

Just called them £20.00 for a roll incl P&P.

Aircraftspruce $8.50, think I may just wait and order some other stuff from AS it the same time.

If you are really stuck I may have some you can have but it will need replacing later in the year (tail plane recovering this winter). Not a full reel but can check if you are interested.

Further to PM - Dave Almey has some at Skycraft. Your choice.

Thanks guys.

I have ordered some from Aircraft Spruce. Postage came to the same but got some other parts I need as well - which were also cheaper than Uk price!
