Hi All Anyone first hand knowledge of SEHT headsets please, especially the SH 30-60 ANR model? Thinking if buying one. Many thanks.

I've had an SH30-60 for the last year and think it's great (for the price - I paid £209.95). It does what it says - I fly a noisy old Piper and now I can hear ATC! I'm sure the other types like BOSE are great but for the amount of flying I do, I can't justify their cost.

I have a pair of ANR Carbon fibre from seht. Not sure I would pay the extra for Carbon fibre again, but they work very well for me.

I bought a set of SEHT 40-80 recently, and the service from them was excellent. They are very comfy to wear, and I would recommended the Bluetooth option to help future proof your purchase, as more connectivity options become available. I specifically chose the Bluetooth option so that I could use this to connect to the traffic messages from SkyDemon, as I also get the traffic info from PilotAware, as this is hard wired into my Intercom.

I am a little disappointed with the ANR function, though I don't think this is exclusive to SEHT, maybe I just expected more noise reduction from ANR generally. Although there is definitely a change in noise with the ANR turned on, it's just not as much as I expected. Maybe it's my ears!
