Intercom wanted
I need a two place intercom for an Icom. I've bought an aircraft with a Trig 91 and find my Icom is loads better. Names on the display, decent size display, better interface. Would anyone care to tell me why the Trig at £1000 more is better?

Rob,
I have a Trig TY91 in my aircraft and I find the intecom function to be excellent.
What issue do you have?
What make/model of headsets are you using?

Re: Intercom wanted
The audio is fine, it's the small display, lack of names and fiddly menus I dislike. I'm getting used to it though

Hi Rob,
Not sure what you are referring to.
The intercom is voice activated and just works!
You only need to set up the "sensitivity" so it activates when pilot (or passenger) speaks.
It is very easy to do from the Trig control unit.
Or am I missing something?
What is the "lack of names" all about?

Re: Intercom wanted
My Icom can have names programmed into the display rather than having to have a list of frequencies on a pad. So I can dial up Donna Nook and it does the frequency for me. I can read it without my glasses whichat 64 does help
