Anything in particular you are after? Anything you want to sell under £100?

Looking for Garmin 95XL

Post by bertdeleporte » Tue Mar 10, 2009 6:19 pm

hello,

to replace tho one (unit + antenna) stolen on my machine, if someone has this old-fashoned kind of equipment collecting dust on a shelf, I would be very glad to become the new owner.

Make offer, I have no idea of how much would be reasonable, and what I would propose would be indecent....

Hi Bertrand,

I have a Garmin 95XL and you are most welcome to it. It came with the Evans VP-1 I bought and am currently rebuilding. Although I have never used it, it appeared to boot up ok when I last tried it. I have the handbook and I think the box too but I am not sure about the antenna.

I do not want any money for it. If it works and you are happy with it and you wish to do so, please make a small donation to a charity of your choosing.

Please send me a message via the Forum with your address and I shall post it to you.

Kind regards,

John.

Parcel received Saturday, new batteries, 20 minutes scanning, working perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A little humidity appeared on glass, I opened up, heated the sicagel bag enclosed, cleaned the glass, reboxed. Looks as new!!!

Once again, many thanks, donation made this evening.

Many thanks, Bertrand.
I'm glad you are pleased with it and delighted that it has found a good home.
Happy flying,
