I am Planning a flight in my permit CASA 131E from Switzerland to Poland via Germany and Austria. Can anybody advise on this trip. Any experiences travelling in these countries you would like to recount would be appreciated.

Germany seems ok to fly in. You need a transponder if flying above 5000ft, but otherwise no problems, although I havent flown there for a couple of years. You have to watch out, like in England, many airfields have opening and closing times outside which you arent allowed to land, unlike France and other places on the continent and elsewhere, where you can land any time you like, if the windsock is flying the airfield is open!
have a good trip!
