Sorry to put this here rather than in Events but I figured it would get more notice.
As part of the first joint CAA/LAA Test Flying Course that will be taking place at Turweston next week there will be a presentation on Wednesday evening, June 8th between 1815 and 1945 in the Conference room above the LAA HQ offices.
Roger Bailey, Cranfield University test pilot and Chief Pilot of the Shuttleworth Collection, will give a presentation explaining some of the lessons he has learnt over many years flight testing a huge variety of aeroplanes from Bleriot to Boeing. Members are welcome to fly in, the timing of the lecture having been set to accommodate last departures before the airfield closes at 2000 but please take care to observe the airfield’s published noise abatement procedures if arriving non-radio or after 1800 when the tower closes down. Members can of course, also arrive by road. There will be no charge for the talk but to get an idea of numbers it will help if you email of phone Penny in advance to let her know you will be attending. [email protected] or phone 01280 846786
