Insurance
The bits of my aircraft and the tools have got to the stage where they are actually worth something! How have people insured their kits and tools during the build? Do you need a specialist aviation insurer or can you just include it in the household insurance (I am building in the garage)? If the former, any recommendations?

My wife threatened to throw a match into my workshop on numerous occassions
I wonder if that is an insurable risk?

Thatcherism ..... Brrrrrrr, that sent a shiver down my spine Richard!
At least with a metal aeroplane the missus will have to be more creative than threatening it with a match I'm sure she'll think of some lever to get me to do those odd jobs I keep putting off
