Replica Plans SE5a

Post by John D Hill » Tue Sep 11, 2012 8:07 pm

Evening all;

With ten years and one month to go its time to start building my retirement aeroplane. Ever since Mike Beech won the Air Squadron Trophy back in the 1970's I have wanted to build a Replica Plans Se5a, the big problem is I can't find the company, The address and phone number on the LAA plans built data sheet is for the private house of an old lady who has never heard of the company, or even an SE5a.

If anyone can help I will be grovellingly grateful. By the way I'm only 50 but the mean spirited gits at EASA say the fun has to stop at 60!

Sir,
If you search G-Info for the SE5A there are nine examples on the UK register. One of those addresses may know how to acquire knowledge of the company, the plans, or even a spare set.

May I also respectfully suggest that you check the forum rules, esp the bit about names, before the forum police pull you over for a chat :shock:
