8,33 Radios

Post by G.Dawes » Mon Jul 01, 2013 10:35 pm

Having broken my narco 810 radio, I will probably need another to fit, what worries me is this new edict about the radios and the fact that nearly all the radios on sale are 760's
Why are these still being sold if they will be defunct in a short time?
Will this go ahead or will it die a death. What should I do if there isnt an alternative to buying another radio with 760 channels. The new 8.33 seem to be very expensive( too expensive) for me.

Maybe buy a 760 new or second hand?
Depending if it all goes 8.33 in 2017 or so, get a 8.33 then and sell the 760 to the USA.

You could have a hunt round for an 810 which wouldn't cost anything to install and leave 8.33khz till forced, obviously the 810 would need to be cheap as it has a worthless junk date.
