For sale items
I was thinking that the for sale section is for things up to a £100 and that is a bit tight. There must be a lot of small items out there worth more than that, but not worth putting up for sale in the magazine as the ad would be a large chunk off it. Could it possibly be put up, to allow more trading in these mid value items, such as those sitting in my workshop waiting to move out of the way and make room , that others might have a dire need for. I do not remember ever seeing ads for lower value items going in the classified unless there were a lot of them to make the ad worth while.

Re: For sale items
Not sure I understand your reasoning Graham. Are you saying that it's not worth advertising something small but priced at over £100 in the magazine because the ad price takes too large a chunk out of the item price? If so I'm somewhat confused. A member ad up to 30 words cost all of £6, and you can even save the cost of a stamp by emailing the ad and using one of your free mobile minutes to ring in your card details - hardly a rip off is it?

Sorry Brian,
I was looking at the non member rate of £22.
What is the cut-off dates to get an advert in for the next issue?
Graham
