Looking for two seater permit aircraft..

Hi,

I am looking to buy my 'first' plane having spent the last 10 years + flying other peoples aircraft and now looking for something like a small two seater Jodel or Piel Emeraulde permit plane? I have tried a couple of 1050s and found one a tight fit, I am just under 6' and the other one was fine! It seems it all depends on how far recessed the lower panel under the main instrument panel is..

I currently fly out of Duxford and have 500+ hours and about 20+ hours taildragger experience (Super Cub)
