Has anyone out there got either the tool for aligning the P12 or the instruction book? Unlike normal compasses they have 4 small square adjusters and they have no labels! The tool is like a tiny version of a radiator bleed tool and as to the procedure,,,,
There's 4 adjusters as I say and they interact like hell!
I can do a normal compass easily but this one is proving tricky!

Rob,
I've a copy of AP 1234 (RAF Air Nav. etc d/d 1944) and there are 2 or 3 pages of instructions covering P type compass swinging, but they seem quite involved and too long winded for me to copy here.
If you haven't already managed to swing your compass, I'll copy the pages and e-mail them to you, if that would help. ( I assume I can do this via a "PM"?)
Best of luck!

If you could scan them it would be great. It's rubbish weather so will give me something to read. If you send it to [email protected] that would be fabulous!
