Credit Cards

Post by ROB. THOMASSON » Mon Jan 19, 2015 2:13 pm

If like me you usually pay off your credit card in full you may not be aware of this little trick. If you are with Lloyds MasterCard and don't pay off ALL the amount owing they used to charge you on the remainder which was fair enough. However they have changed the rules so that you now pay interest on ALL that months purchases and ALL of next months too. So if you had a bill of £500 in Jan and paid off £450 you would pay interest on £500 for one month and the same next month. So watch it guys and read the small print. I didn't pay off £90 from £900 last month and the total charges will amount to £43!

Talking of credit cards, The LAA has now stopped the payment of the Senior citizen membership by credit card, they want us to sign up for direct debit, I dont believe in DD at once a year so its goodbye LAA when payment due in a few months time.

Direct Debit ? Not likely !
Learnt my lesson about DD from B.Telecom , helping themselves to random dollops of my money. Apparently I was on an old package. { No jokes please chaps }.

Also noticed the LAA have slipped in another crafty one . Any other owners of sub 399kg aeroplanes seen it yet ?
