Can anyone help , some 9 months ago the BGA and the LAA were in communication regarding the Slingsby Motor Gliders ,and I believe possible gliders being removed from EASA and coming under the umbrella of the LAA this would be in the Annex 2 group , anyone any information

Speaking to the BGA CTO recently, I also understand that there is a proposal for all Slingsby T61A motorgliders to become Annex 2 . This could result in a maintenance regime similar to the LAA system of owner maintenance but using BGA inspectors on an annual basis. I currently own the only BGA Annex 2 motor glider, a Scheibe Motorspatz SF 24B currently out of CofA, so a BGA governed arrangement for Annex 2 motorgliders would suit me.
