LAA Permit aircraft

Hi,
A simple question .. Is there a definitive list anywhere of which light aircraft can be operated under a 'Permit' rather than a 'C of A'?

I've just tried searching, it's not easy. On the website go to Aircraft & Technical, Data Library, Plans Built Aircraft. Then in the top line click on "approved aircraft". There is also a list of aircraft approved to move from a CofA to a Permit in TL1-20 in Aircraft and Technical, Data Library, Technical Leaflets.

Thanks for that, just had a look. I would have thought there might be a 'definitive' list of permit planes somewhere ..
I thought some of the early Cessna's could be flown on a permit but I can't see them in either list?

That's because Cessna is still in business and supports these a/c. Hence, they're not orphans.

Just to confuse matters, most of the Cessna 120's are on a permit.

So wouldn't it be useful to have all the permit aircraft in one big list?

Hi Harry,

I fly a C-120 and it definitely isn't supported by Cessna so thankfully resides on a permit. However, a C-140, completely the same as a C-120 - bar a pair of pointless flaps - sits on a C of A. If anyone can guide me to who holds the TC for the C-140 I'd be grateful as for the life of me I can't see why it needs a C of A.
