Just got in and am trying to fill out a CAA application for a permit to fly and the last 2 questions on the form are:-
"Enter CAA Permit Maintenance Release (PMR) Authorisation Number *
"Enter Approval number *"
Of course the office is closed and wondered if anyone else had a clue as to what these numbers might be.
Was hoping to get the form in tonight.

Re: CAA PMR Authorisation and LAA approval number
John.
I actually must confess to not knowing the answer to this, but are you carrying out a W/B check on a CAA administered PtF type aircraft ? If that is the case, then you will probably need the LAE signing the PMR to also put his details and signature , Licence no. / Approval no. at the bottom of the form.
Straying away from LAA administered types could put you into all sorts of paperwork related misdemeanours.
The LAA form requires that either the relevant Inspector or a CAA/LAE signs it and is territory that most of us are fairly comfortable with. Be a bit careful if you go down the path of CAA or [heaven help] EASA issued PtF's , as you may be required to have either a BCAR A8 or a JAR-145 approval.....Scary !

No Nooo, this is nothing to do with Aircraft weighing, this is the getting the Gardan Horizon onto a permit thread.
