Fitting new transponder

Hi

Forgive a dumb question, if I replace my transponder with a new one (mode S) do I have to apply for a mod?

I would suggest having a chat with your inspector he will prob just want to sign it off as approval for the installation has already been given.

Which one are you going for? I have started looking. It seems a bit odd to me that they are all around the same price - a stitch up I would say.
