Yes, I believe that flight is the goal for the restoration project, not sure about the unfinished build.

An interesting post there Matthew and always good to see that the more traditional types of homebuild can still stir up so much interest.
Some great stuff on the link as well , especially if you click on to the one entitled 'Eric' and watch the accompanying vid. Put aside 37 minutes and enjoy Eric's incredible story. And he's a pretty gifted comedian as well.
One thing I would love to know though , what do they make of Eric's broad northern accent down there in deepest Tennessee ?... :D
