Nose wheel re chroming

Post by Rob Trow » Fri Nov 08, 2019 10:34 pm

Hi,
Can anybody help ?
I'm part of a syndicate that proudly owns a Beagle Pup 150,
The nose leg on our plane is in need of a re chroming and then re assembly, we have the relevant new and as yet unfitted seals.Does anybody have any knowledge and contact details of any facility that would offer a good standard of service ,for the re chroming , fitting of the seals and then re assembly, to an appropriate standard?

Many thanks Rob Trow

Try a company in your area that does refurbishment of hydraulic rams. Ask an agricultural machinery agent where you can find one.

Google 'motorcycle fork hard chroming' - plenty of options there perhaps.

I believe Swiftair at Leicester are in the process of getting some Slingsby legs (unobtanium) re-chromed. They are also approved for Pups, so it may be worth having a chat with them.
