National Coach change

Post by Chris Thompson »

Please note that effective immediately I have taken over from Will Greenwood as National Coach. I would like to thank him for all the work done over the last ten years and hope to be able to work with David Cockburn and assist with Coaching enquiries in the future.

Hi Chris,

Thnk you for volunteering to take over this essential element of our LAA's multiple contributions to safe flying.

IMHO, beyond the condition of one's aeroplane, the response the P1
is a major factor in many accidents.

BTW. Is Natonal rational ?

Re: BTW. Is Natonal rational (your sentence!) - I have no idea, I am just inheriting the LAA wording!
Re: IMHO? This may sound stupid but I am not a "Forum", "Facebook", "Twitter" person at all and these modern expressions are relatively new to me - what is IMHO? Perhaps I need Coaching . . . ? I am only beginning to look at the LAA Forum now because it is apparently part of the "Job Spec"!

Sorry,

I am an 82 yr young P1 and have had to learn some of this slang.
IMHO = In my humble opinion. (Or "not so" !).
Good luck in dealing with we hooligans.

Hi Chris,

Happy New Year and welcome to your new role!

They were referring to the thread title spelling error "Natonal" vice "National"......

Spend a few weeks monitoring a certain popular GA forum (red top banner....) and you will soon become very fluent with the new on-line lingo!

Regards

Tony
