Mild Stuff - Cleaning

Post by Speedrecord » Sun Jan 05, 2020 3:28 pm

Hi All,

Happy Flying New Year.

I wondered what the combined wisdom was on aircraft Cleaning? My aircraft is not near a tap just about ever. So I tried some waterless wash & wax from Meguires. I have so far tried it on my (dirty) car as an experiment and been impressed with the results. I appreciate the windows on a light aircraft are perspex/plastic not glass. Would there be any problem you know of in using this type of cleaner?

What do others use?

Thanks

'Simple Green'

No wax in it so good for matt finishes

Bugs and oil just slide off with no effort - brilliant stuff.
