Now, now. I don't even have a dog.
Trail cameras are what you need, catch 'em in the act.
You're welcome.

Re: Ignoring PPR
In your quest for a new aircraft you may wish to consider an Easy Raider microlight if you can find one.
However it is tandem and in reality a single seater with plenty of load space. Jabiru engine which can give people the shivers and maybe not quick enough at 70kt cruise. But it will do that for 3+ hours. Wingfold so fits in a barn and pretty tough.
Welcome to come and look at mine (not for sale) - just keep your dog on a lead.
PPR obviously

It's a trap!!!!!Welcome to come and look at mine (not for sale) - just keep your dog on a lead.

Your offer is much appreciated, they're a good looking machine and for one-up wafting around seem ideal. As I refine my shortlist I realise I'm going to need something with a bit of room and, if my off-piste plans come to fruition, built to take some knocks.
Our strip holds water like a sponge too and for most types is unusable at least four months of the year. I'm hoping to get around that by fitting larger tyres, not quite tundra types but something a bit balloon-ish. If I can find an aircraft type I like that is already cleared for them I can avoid applying for the mod.
But let me have the co-ordinates to your strip, I promise not to pass them on.
And if you're ever Nuthampstead way feel free to drop in.

I'm on Skydemon - Rolleston Park Farm. Got fattish tyres on mine. Cope with wet well but I'm cautious given my shortness, and the strip

A Groppo Trail if you can find one could also suit what you want it for. Only tandem though

Re: Ignoring PPR
I'm surely repeating stuff on a similar thread running on Flyer.
BUT FWIW the Rans S6-116 tail wheeler takes fat tyres legitimately (I have) and makes it good for a soft West Sussex strip in winter. Top speed hardly altered, still caN cruise between 85 and 100 mph at 4,400 - 4950 rpm. Nat. prop setting etc. affects that, mine's a 2 blade ground adj. W.D.
Very happy with the whole shebang, Plenty roomy for a 6ft P1, and a fair all rounder at the light end of GA.
Needs a PPL for this S6 shorter wing -116 variant, BUT they are often sold cheaper because a microlight Licence not sufficient !

I would love one but sadly out of budget.Sean McDonald wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 12:32 pmA Groppo Trail if you can find one could also suit what you want it for. Only tandem though

The tailwheel certainly transforms the look of the S6 (less of that 'hang glider crashed into a clothes dryer' appearance) but they seem to be thin on the ground. I'll keep looking and have you down in my notes as 'S6 Expert'.
PPL not a problem.

My bargaining skills aren't very subtle, something along the lines of 'How much is this £20,000 Groppo Trail going to cost me then?".
