This was amazing - less than 24hrs!
Test flight in the morning - mailed the renewal application in the 1600 collection - new validation by email 1430 the next day - 221/2 hr turnaround!

Oh for the good old days…. Thought I’d beat the system by allow more time for the renewal… with a new system you always get hiccups/delays …… didn’t allow enough though! Aircraft now out of permit.
7 days with the new efficient system....
This was just last week. I left one number off the flight review form which probably added one day. This was quickly communicated in each direction and was taken care of with no drama.

Mine took 5 working days. Sent by email 13:02 on 26 July (automatic acknowledgement) and received 08:59 on 2 August.
The permit renewal only appeared in My Aircraft on the website on 1 August. Application Received, A/W Report Received and Payment Received were all marked Checked: Y, but there was no indication if they were found correct, until the permit arrived next day.
You should receive an automated reply back from the LAA within a few minutes of you sending.
