WANTED - Wheels, axles and brakes for Evans VP-1

Hi,

Can anyone please help with some second hand, lightweight 5" wheels, axles and hydraulic brakes to replace the heavy and clapped out Beagle Pup ones on my VP-1?

If not, any suggestions as to where best to buy something new? Matco in the US is the only source that I have found so far.

I have some drum braked wheels here with proper bearings and 3/4 inch spindles. I THINK they are marked as 3.00x3 and have about 6 inch rim diameter.
Any good?

Pics coming. 3/4 hollow spindle, 3 inch radius, 3.5 inch between rim edges, drum brakes, sealed bearings, 6 lbs weight each side including heavyweight steel spacer and heavy steel castelated nut. Both could be replaced to save about 3/4 lb? All new.

I got your answerphone calls but have been on 'evil nights' at work.

John, try Mike Watts at Classic Air Care 01962 777261, he had loads of VP stuff amongst other bits. A nice bloke too!
