I've just moved my Jodel D9 in a trailer which is close to your required dimensions. It was a glider trailer and I was loaned it. I doubt that the owner would refuse a sensible offer of reimbursement, but remember he values it at around £6k replacement value! Where are you going to/from?

I made a trailer. Easy peasy after an aircraft rebuild!

The weight is going to be in the 3 corners only so you can add a lot of lightness. Cost about £200 excluding the wheels for all new bits. Managed 69.9 mph on the motorway without trouble and can be broken down for storage. Have you thought about a boat trailer with something on top?

One solution is to buy an old caravan and modify.
They can be quite cheap as you will empty any dodgy innards but you will have to create a new braced rear end for access.

Thanks shortfield - its a bit short and not covered. I currently use a standard car road trailer to move about with - just need to have some cover.
