When I used to fly in and out of Malaga Airport in my Taylorcraft (they actually let me) I was charged the standard Euro Landing fee based upon MAUW. It was something silly like £2.50! We operate under JAR/JAA EASA whatever, obey their rules, but no sign of parity in this area!

Belfast airports are the same.
George Best City airport has a colossal fee..... £120-00 for a C42 microlight.
Belfast Aldrogrove was about £22-00 the last time I was there.

Sod the both of them;
Newtownards is the best of all with a small landing fee.

During the summer I went to Southern Spain. San Sebastian, Valladollid, Jerez charge 4.55 Euros to land and 1.46 Euros per day to park including transport by bus to and from the aircraft tie downs etc. They all have busy commercial routes and full ATC ILS etc. This is the standard charge for all aircraft less than 1000kgs and includes the dreaded VAT.

Jersey last year was £12 landing fee and free parking for a week. Just an excellent place to visit.
