Brought this back to the top because people say they can't find any details.

An Excellent Day

Post by Richard Warriner »

An excellent day for those of us who flew in, enjoyed the food and sat in the sun watching the aeronautical world go by. It seemed that everyone who hadn't gone to Sun & Fun had come to the fly-in.

Thanks to John and the folks at Sackville Farm for a great day out.

Safe Flying,
Richard W.

I had to leave about 3.30 to get back in time to check my brakes but people were still phoning / arriving then!
I would like to thank all the crew at Sackville for making it a lovely day and say that the BBQ was superb! Thanks very much for taking the risk and buying all the fresh grub, especially in view of the uncertainty with numbers. Their parting shot on the radio as everyone left and thanked them was "Please come again" ...I think lots of us will!
Tim's understatement when I thanked him was..."It's what we do".All I can add is "They do it well".
Maybe a return in August??
