Cub ..Torque tube connecting control colums

Post by C Rule » Sun May 17, 2009 2:49 pm

Has anyone had to remove the end float (25-30 thou) in the torque tube which interconects the control colums in a cub? I thought initially that it would be a simple job of shimming between the annular ring on the tube and the forward mounting but of course it is not possible to get the shim on the tube beause of the end fittings. Any ideas or experiences would be apreciated
