Sywell Pilot Coaching Day

In a fairly selfish mood I thought that the LAA pilot coaching day at Sywell would be a good opportunity to undertake my impending bi-annual PPL re- validation flight. In the event, I had a good day out and the opportunity to meet and fly with Peter Davis. Peter is very personable and the relaxed flight afforded the chance to run through many of the basic elements of flying that often get overlooked in dashing from place to place. Unfortunately the Great British Weather played havoc with the event and the majority of prospective attendees were driven back by the clag that covered a lot of the country. Not to be deterred by this unforeseen setback, the coaches present got on with things with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Such events are another benefit of LAA membership and I would encourage all members to support/take advantage of these coaching days.
