Why not spend 30 seconds reading the rules?

"An extraordinary general meeting of the Association shall only be held by direction of the committee, or by written requisition to the secretary signed by at least one per cent of the full members of the Association or fifty of those members whichever is the greater. The requisition shall specify the motions or proposed resolutions for discussion at the meeting."

and the best of luck!

We currently have 8,206 members. I have absolutely no idea what the rules say about access to the names and addresses of members, but I would be surprised if they were able to be made freely available. However, I do know that in the past the PFA sent out a letter to everybody from a third party, thus giving that third party access to the membership. Then of course you could pitch your bitch - not bad eh! - on the forum to gain support for your EGM call. So, Ron, don't blame the directors/EC for not allowing members to air their grievance, I've given two avenues and told you how many members are needed to sign an EGM call - 82.

Edited after Steve's note that it is indeed William and not Ron that wanted to know about EGMs. Apologies for getting my wires crossed.

Welcome to the forum William. What's the reason for asking about an EGM?

William

As a first post, that is quite a start! Do you have 85 friends? What would the subject of the EGM be? Have you tried going through official channels? Can you get a permit on your aircraft if you are no longer a member?
