There shouldn't be confusion here over new types that maybe submitted for approval, and new projects that are for existing approved designs. You should not have a problem getting a project build book for a design already approved. There has been a limit put on approval of new designs for several years, as Paul suggests, it is a time/money resource issue.
I'm no expert on gyros, but I understood that gaining approval through Section T was being dealt with directly by CAA, but best check with the Enginering department tomorrow.
