flight to Australia by permit aircraft?

Other than the KR2 flown to Australia a few years ago, does anyone know if there have been any recent trips or attempts in a permit aircraft.

Maurice Kirk made the trip inhis piper Cub a few years ago, and a year or two ago a blind flexwing microlight pilot made the trip with a sighted co pilot.
