Mode C transponder wanted.

First time I have visited this section, due the caption suggesting only items £100 and below are accepted. Perhaps this sales & wants section might be of more use if the caption was removed.

For instance I am looking for a used mode C transponder, and would hope to find one for less than £500?

I agree with you about the £100 limit, but assume it was an attempt to keep member advertising revenue up for the magazine.

I wonder what the amount of magazine income from member adverts is, and why this obvious service to members isn't free with the membership anyway.

I too assumed that the £100 limit was to create an incentive to use the mag but it probably has little effect in practice. In fact, by having the limit it is possible that LAA members are missing the opportunity to trade between themselves and are passing advertising revenue onto afors and ebay.
