Stripping paint off metal

Hello. I have a rudder made of 4130 that needs to be stripped of paint for repairing, and repainting. I've heard of 'soft' sandblasting that uses woodchips - even foam pellets that delicately removes paint and leaves metal untouched. Has anyone any experience of this or has any contact numbers?
