Glasgow CTA Airspace Change - Revised Proposal

Post by John Brady » Fri Apr 01, 2011 9:16 am

Dear members,

you may recall that NATS proposed to change the airspace that bridges between the Glasgow and Edinburgh TMAs from Class E to Class D, making it much more restrictive for light aircraft and gliders. We argued strongly against it and when it was put to the CAA as a proposal, they rejected it. NATS have now issued a slightly revised proposal for comment by 26 April.

If you have any knowledge of this area or have a view on the proposal, please would you tell us what you think by 19 April so we can respond on your behalf; either here or to our email [email protected]

You can view the proposal at
