Surely there is a need for somewhere to add links to sites where there are good safety tips on offer. Might I start with this freebie.

Some good safety tips would be great including on how to swing a prop but that film seems to show how not to do it.

I am even more scared now.

I was told that this one was a fair approximation of a correct 'swinging'. The tailskid is bolted to a D-ring on the concrete section of the drive and it has a Mk1 Rope handbrake applied. This one is self adjusting and can be released with one hand once you are safely sat inside.
