Irv, You are doing an excellent job on this most important subject, but I feel that I must question the basis for stating that only a small number of warnings were not needed. I do not see how the number can be discovered. I fly from Fairaoks frequently, always with Farnborough LARS, and can recall ...

Peter G: I am only refering to the present position, not what may/may not come from the EASA FCL consultation. However, EASA FCL is only addressing limitations on pilots, not on limitations put by the ANO on aircraft with UK permits. I think EASA are quite some way from addressing those, as with Ann...

Lee on Solent
Early on on this site I recorded my interest in flying in as a visitor, and have kept watch on the eghf web site. I would probably visit half a dozen or so times a year. A few weeks ago I read the Airfield Manual and printed off the 'plate', and spoke with the press relations guy given on that site....

Prior permission is required, and they've been getting more strict on this. Easy to get by e-mail, attaching scan of Permit and C of V. It is given to the expiry date of the C of V, so you can go as often as you wish until then. Note that Guernsey require seperate permission, but this also covers Al...

Flying to work.
Deafening silence from everybody else on this one, so here's my comments. I assume from your posting on this forum that you are flying a LAA Permit aircraft. I learnt to fly nearly 30 years ago, and have over 1450 hours now. For me, flying is all about an unbelievably wonderous means of personal tra...
