Didn't think the cost of re-covering an Emeraude would be such a secret :-)

Anyone able to post a ball park figure? How much would the materials alone be?

Would have thought there could also be a lot of variables once the underlying structure was revealed, in that some remedial wood and metalwork ...

The Emeraudes a great fun aircraft, a few hours with an LAA coach should have you feeling very comfortable, although I wouldnt tackle a strip as short as the 300m mentioned above, with my own level of experience.

You need to know where the "datum" is defined on your plane, that the c of g position is referenced to. This is so you can measure the distance from there to where you are adding or removing weight.

Nice job, this really deserves a link from the laa website engineering pages.

Only slight gotcha is that it runs to two pages so you could miss that you do not have all the inspectors on the map at a quick glance.
