Is it an alternator or generator? I have had experience of changing the polarity of a generator on a Jodel DR1050, when we changed from a potez engine to an 0200.

My first port of call would be t look at the aerial connections, ensure that they are tight, that the outer braid is not near to the central conductor of the coax, also check for corrosion at the ground plane connection.

I thought that the curved pipe in the fuel cap pointing forward was for pressurising the fuel tank and a seperate pipe from the top area of the tank was the vent both the jodel and mk7 kitfox have this setup.

Any one know what is the current situation with transfering the jodel fleet onto LAA permit?

I am building a kitfox 7 and would like to contact anyone who has experience of building this version. I would also like to contact David Steade who built G-CDXY if anyone knows his email or telephone number it would be helpful.
