If you do make your own 'bump', it is worth using some decent epoxy resin and 2*2 twill glass cloth - once it is cured at room temp then post-cure it as per resin recomendation to reduce the risk of shrinkage due to engine heat bringing the cloth weave to the surface after you have painted your ...

We used Perfo matting on hard worn areas of our strip to excellent effect.
We confined our reinforcement activity to a metre wide around the hangar concrete apron and under the farm track that crosses our runway where we regularly have to take 25 tonne gross wt vehicles over to the fields ...

We have recently bought an excellent D120 for well inside for your budget figure.
As Barry says above, with a clear approach and departure route, 300m is about the minimum I would accept.
Although with light fuel /passenger loading and short dry grass we are off well before 300m, it does obviously ...
